ステーク会長会メッセージ【2022年1月2日】

愛する東京ステークの皆様

　明けましておめでとうございます。新しい年を迎え、ステーク会長会からの愛をお伝えします。去年も新型コロナウィルスの影響が続き、皆さんの日常生活においても様々なチャレンジがあったと思います。
その一方で教会での集会や活動が少しずつ再開され、お互い顔を合わせて主を礼拝する機会を頂いていることに心から感謝しています。

　私たちは東京神殿の再奉献を心から待ち望んでいます。前回のステーク大会でお勧めした 3 つのことについて個人・家族・そしてワードとして取り組んで頂くようお願いします。それは有効な神殿推薦状を保持すること、自分の系図を調べ神殿が再奉献されたら自分の先祖の儀式を行えるように準備すること、そしてオープンハウスに皆さんの愛する方、大切な方を招待することです。

　今日は若い兄弟姉妹にお伝えしたいことがあります。18-35 才の独身成人の兄弟姉妹を今月 1 月から毎月第３日曜日に渋谷 YSA グループの集会にお誘いします。同年代の独身成人がともに集まり、救い主への信仰と証を強めて頂きたいと思います。各ワードにおいて YSA の皆さんが召しを果たしていると思いますので、彼らが第 3 日曜日に渋谷に集うことができるようにご協力をお願いします。この試みはある一定期間を予定していて、その後も継続するかについては評議して決めていきます。

青少年の皆さん、3 月 29-31 日には船橋市立一宮少年自然の家を貸し切ってユースカンファレンスが、8 月 12-17 日には愛知県美浜自然の家で fsy 名古屋・東京南セッションが予定されています。対象の方はぜひ今から参加できるように準備をしてください。

これから今年の目標を立てる方もいらっしゃると思います。私たちがネルソン大管長の勧告に心から聞き従うことができますように。2022 年が皆さんにとって喜びに満ちた年になるように心からお祈りいたします。
「兄弟姉妹の皆さん，どうか主のために時間を取ってください！聖霊が常に伴侶となるような事柄を行うことにより，自分の霊的な基盤を堅固にして，時の試練に耐えられるようにしてください。イエス・キリストに焦点を定めることほど御霊を招くことはほかにありません。キリストのことを話し，キリストのことを喜び，キリストの言葉をよく味わい，キリストを確固として信じ，力強く進んでください。
主を礼拝し，聖餐を取り，主の日を聖く保って，安息日を喜びの日としてください。主の聖なる宮において主のために時間を取ってください。神殿での奉仕と礼拝のように霊的な土台を強めるものはほかにありません。」（2021 年 10 月総大会「主のために時間を取る」）

Dear Members of the Tokyo Stake,

We wish you a Happy New Year. As we begin the new year, we would like to express our love
from the stake presidency. The influence of COVID-19 continued last year, and many of us
faced various challenges in our daily life. On the other hand, we are deeply grateful that the
church meetings and activities have gradually resumed and that we have the opportunity to
meet each other and worship the Lord.

We sincerely look forward to the rededication of the Tokyo Temple. We would like to ask you to
work on the three things mentioned in the last stake conference as an individual, a family
member, and a ward. They are 1) to hold a temple recommend, 2) work on your genealogy and
prepare yourself to perform proxy ordinances for your ancestors when the temple is
rededicated, and 3) invite your loved ones to the open house.

Today we have something to tell our younger brothers and sisters. We invite single adult
brothers and sisters age 18-35 to the Shibuya YSA group meetings on the third Sunday of
every month starting January. We hope that single adults of the same age will come together
to strengthen their faith and testimony of the Savior. As YSA members are serving in various
callings in each ward, please cooperate so that they can meet in Shibuya on the third Sunday.
This trial is planned for a set period of time, and we will counsel and decide whether to
continue it after the trial period.

Dear youth, a youth conference will be held on March 29-31 at the Ichinomiya Shonen Nature
House in Funabashi City, and an fsy Nagoya/Tokyo South session will be held at the Mihama
Nature House in Aichi Prefecture on August 12-17. We invite you to prepare yourself to
attend these special conferences.

Many of you will set goals for this year. May we sincerely follow President Nelson’s counsel.
We sincerely pray that you will be filled with joy in 2022.

foundation firm and able to stand the test of time by doing those things that allow the Holy
Ghost to be with you always. Nothing invites the Spirit more than fixing your focus on Jesus
Christ. Talk of Christ, rejoice in Christ, feast upon the words of Christ, and press forward with
steadfastness in Christ. Make your Sabbath a delight as you worship Him, partake of the
sacrament, and keep His day holy. As I emphasized this morning, please make time for the Lord
in His holy house. Nothing will strengthen your spiritual foundation like temple service and
