ステーク会長会メッセージ【2022年3月7日】

愛する東京ステークの皆様

春の訪れを感じる今日この頃ですが、皆さんお元気ですか？ステーク会長会は去年9月に行われた特別ステーク大会で十二使徒のアンダーセン長老が約束されたことに思いを馳せ、どのように東京ステークとしてアンダーセン長老の勧めに聞き従うことができるか考えてきました。

　私たちステーク会長会は、3月13日から東京ステーク内のワード・YSAグループにおいて対面での集会を再開することを決定しました。新規感染者数は減少傾向にあり、学校や仕事も引き続き感染防止対策をしながら、少しずつ日常生活が回復してきています。私たちは教会堂でともに主を礼拝し、主について学び、お互いを強めることで得られる祝福を享受したいと思います。

　現在、世界規模の家族歴史のイベント「ルーツテック」が行われています。皆さんの中でもすでにいろいろな講演の動画を視聴された方もいると思います。神殿・家族歴史指導者訓練の動画が公開されましたので、ぜひ視聴し指導者や世界中の会員の証からご自身ができることに取り組んで頂きたいと思います。とくにフルタド家族の証は心打たれました。神殿の儀式を受け家族が主の祝福、守り、導きを得ることができると証します。ぜひ皆さんも彼らの証を聞いて下さい。

今月末に予定されているユースカンファレンスは現時点で90名ほどの青少年の申し込みがありました。予定通り対面で行えるように皆様もお祈りして頂ければと思います。また8月に予定されているfsyも申し込みが開始されましたので、小冊子の後ろにある申込用紙を記入してビショップに提出して下さい。

YSAの皆さん、ぜひ第3日曜日に渋谷YSAグループの集会にお越し下さい。同世代の兄弟姉妹と友情を築き、救い主イエス・キリストへの信仰と証を強めてほしいと思います。

繰り返しになりますが、前回のステーク大会でお勧めした3つのことについて個人・家族・そしてワードとして取り組んで頂くようお願いします。それは有効な神殿推薦状を保持すること、自分の系図を調べ神殿が再奉献されたら自分の先祖の儀式を行えるように準備すること、そしてオープンハウスに皆さんの愛する方、大切な方を招待することです。東京神殿が近い将来再奉献されるように共に祈りましょう。

Dear Members of the Tokyo Stake,

Spring is just around the corner. How are you doing? The Stake Presidency has been contemplating the promise made by Elder Andersen of the Twelve Apostles at the special stake conference last September and has been thinking about how Tokyo Stake can follow his counsel.

As the Stake Presidency, we have decided to resume face-to-face meetings at the wards and YSA Group in the Tokyo Stake beginning March 13. The number of new COVID cases is declining, and daily life is gradually recovering while schools and workplaces continue to take preventive control measures. We want to worship the Lord together in the church meetinghouse, learn of Him, and enjoy the blessings of strengthening one another.

Currently, the global family history event “RootsTech” is being held. Some of you have already watched the videos of various lectures. 2022 Temple and Family History Leadership Instruction has been released, so please watch it and work on what you can do as you hear the testimonies of our leaders and members from all over the world. The testimony of the Hurtado Family was especially impressive. We testify that our family can receive blessings, protection, and guidance from the Lord through the ordinances of the temple. We have received about 90 applications for the upcoming youth conference scheduled for the end of this month. We ask you to pray so that a face-to-face conference can be held as planned. The application for fsy, which is scheduled for August, has also started, so please fill out the application form at the back of the booklet and submit it to your bishop.

Dear YSA, please come and join the Shibuya YSA Group meetings on the 3rd Sunday. We want you to build friendships with brothers and sisters of your age-group and strengthen your faith in and testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ.

Again, we would like to ask you to work on the three things mentioned in the last stake conference as an individual, a family member, and a ward. They are 1) to hold a temple recommend, 2) work on your genealogy and prepare yourself to perform proxy ordinances for your ancestors when the temple is rededicated, and 3) invite your loved ones to the open house. Let us pray together that the Tokyo Temple will be re-dedicated in the near future.
